What is parenting?

Parenting is a verb, without a doubt. I truly believe there are a bajillion ways to parent well. There are simply too many variables in our own history, our own personality, our own circumstances that are layered upon our children’s histories, personalities and circumstances that one size cannot fit all. While Time Out may work for many, it will not work for all. While attachment parenting is what meshes with some parents, it may not work for you. Or, one strategy of “attachment parenting” may work for you in one situation but not in all. As you can see, this is how we get to a bajillion. This part of the blog will center around strategies, ways of getting through sticky (maybe even literally!) situations that pull from many approaches to parenting.
